Configuring RCW source

RCW stands for Reset Configuration Word. During a reset event, the chip uses an external memory interface to retrieve reset configuration information. This information is called RCW, and the memory source can be selected using the onboard DIP switch.

For more information about the RCW, please refer to the QorIQ LS1046A Reference Manual.

The RCW sources and corresponding DIP switch positions are as follows:

LS1046A/LS1026A:

RCW Source

DIP Switch positions (1, 2, 3, 4)

RCW Source

DIP Switch positions (1, 2, 3, 4)

QSPI

ON - OFF - ON - ON

eMMC

ON - ON - ON - ON

LS1088A/LS1048A:
